Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup 226g unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup 100g granulated sugar
  • 1 cup 200g brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups + 1/4 cup 290g all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup 40g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup 170g semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows or enough to top each cookie

Instructions
 

  • Cream Butter and Sugars: Beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Add Eggs and Vanilla: Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  • Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
  • Fold in Chocolate Chips: Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Shape and Chill Dough: Scoop dough into balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Bake and Add Marshmallows: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place dough balls on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 8 minutes, remove, press marshmallows into each cookie, and bake for another 2–3 minutes.
